Access Statement

The Old Coach House is located on the A 429, opposite The Radnor Arms. The private entrance is situated just off a small lay-by and near a bus stop.
Drive in through the private entrance, The Old Coach House is situated on the left hand side with a name plate on the gate. Please park on the paved drive in front of the garage door and walk to the main door through large open gate…you will note that there is a little gate which has three steps, this gate is closed and not normally used. Please ring door bell and we will be there to welcome you. If you need assistance with your luggage please let us know.

Guest Accommodation

Guest accommodation is located in newly completed annexe. This is accessed through a large glass door [with door step of approx 20cms] which opens into lobby area. Here there is a large hall cabinet with reading light/tourist information and visitors book. A coat stand and Lloyd Loom chair are there for your use.
From the lobby a wide staircase with handrail leads up to the first floor bedroom. The stairs and bedroom [with vaulted ceiling] are carpeted throughout. The generously sized en-suite is fitted with shower/toilet/wash basin and fed with softened water. Bottled water is supplied for drinking and unsoftened water for flasks etc can be provided on request.
Lighting in both bedroom and bathroom is well appointed. Electric sockets are raised from the floor for ease of access. Smoke alarms are located in bedroom and lobby. The bedroom has TV [freeview], DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer and a selection of reading material.
The Velux windows in the bedroom have black out blinds. Electric heating – can be adjusted to suit your requirements.
A very comfortable king size Hypnos bed is made with sheets and blankets.

Dining Room

The dining room is situated in the main house which is accessed through main door [doorstep approx 20cms] and into small hallway. Flooring here - quarry tiles and rug. Please ring the door bell and the hostess will show you into dining room which is located through carpeted sitting room and through double glass doors. The dining room has terracotta tiles and large carpet. A full English breakfast is served in the dining room. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you book.

Garden Area

Outside the annexe there is a large paved area with elevated flower bed and small secluded patio with garden table and chairs.
The newly paved area continues into the main garden with gravelled pathways and steps to raised flower beds and several large trees. There is a small lawned area which is accessed by means of gravel steps and a patio area with water feature.

Additional Information

On arrival and probably a long journey, you will be more than welcome to relax in the conservatory with a tray of tea or coffee. There is a comfortable sofa and wicker chairs for you to unwind. Flooring is tiled with a small rug. Mobile phone reception is quite good.
We have a dog and regret that we are unable to accommodate pets.
Buses to Chippenham-7 miles away - leave just outside our entrance. Buses to Malmesbury and Cirencester stop on opposite side of road. The nearest railway station is Chippenham. Kemble station is just 20 minutes away with trains running from Paddington to Cheltenham
